What is the study about?
This study aims at investigating perceptions of climate change maps.
What will I need to do?
If you agree to participate, you will be asked to look carefully at a map and then answer a questionnaire, as well as provide some demographic information. No personally identifiable information will be collected and your participation is anonymous. The survey should take about 20 minutes to complete.
What are the potential benefits of participating?
Your participation will be rewarded with financial compensation via the Prolific platform and will contribute to a better understanding of how people perceive maps.
Ethics
Ethical Clearance for this project was granted by the Research Ethics Office of King’s College London.
The study does not present any particular risks other than those of everyday life. However, if you feel uncomfortable, you can choose not to participate or stop participating at any time.
